Our Committees help run the lodge and are a great way for new members to get involved and learn more about Elkdom

House & Safety Committee

The House Committee is made up of  appointed members by the Exalted Ruler pursuant to our Lodge By-Laws and Statutes of the Order as of 2020.

Club Manager - Justin Jones P.E.R.

Assistant Club Manager - Garrett Phillips

Safety & Insurance Officer - Todd Daily

Assists with safety compliance and Lodge inspections.

Events Committee - Lauren Wolf

The committee's goal is to organize our member and community events as well as event rentals. Visit our Rent Our Facility page for rates and information for private events. 

Membership Committee - Cliff Crocker

The committee's goal is to increase membership, membership lapsation and new member orientation.

P.E.R. Committee - Pete Vollmer P.E.R.

Past Exalted Rulers Association or Advisory Committee which shall consist of all the Past Exalted Ruler of the Lodge and all Past Exalted Rulers of another Lodge who are now Members to  make recommendations for Lodge Committee appointments and
candidates for office. To assist the Exalted Ruler. To engage in and make recommendations in other activities which will promote the good of the Lodge and of the Order.

Ritual Committee - Josh Crawford

To encourage the use and correct performance of the Grand Lodge Rituals at Denver #17 Lodge. Make arrangements for develop a team, practice and participate in Ritual Competitions.

New Home, Major Project & Commercial Leasing - Travis Caldwell

To review and secure revenue from commercial leases. To review, discuss and present items related to a new Lodge, building or property designation,

Veterans Committee - Chris Sandoval

Shall formulate and carry out programs of aid to disabled or needy veterans of the military service of the United States of America, and to formulate and carry out programs for aid and service to members of the military forces of the United States of America.

Grants & Scholarships Committee - Jason McCullough

Shall coordinate the program , to conduct scholarship contests, and to award scholarships to worthy students and make recommendations to Board of Directors. To apply for Grand Lodge grants for programs at our Lodge.

Elkettes - Joan Verhey

A group of dedicated Elk spouses that provide much support to the lodge. Membership is open to any spouse, widow, or daughter of an Elk Member. 

History Committee - Mark Welch

To document, archive and display Elk history related to BPOE and the Denver #17 Lodge.

Audit & Accounting Committee - Garrett Phillips

To engage an accountant independent of the Lodge, with the approval of the Lodge to prepare the Annual Financial Report and present to Lodge Officers for the fiscal year. Deliver the final financial report and file state and federal tax forms. Act on other matters of finance as the Lodge may direct

Hoop Shoot - Ben Dolegowski

Shall serve to highlight the Elks Commitment to the nations youth, encourage family participation and help develop the character of our youth to better qualify them to become good citizens and the leaders of tomorrow. To coordinate and execute annual event for youth in our community.

Soccer Shoot - Eric Wolf

Shall serve to highlight the Elks Commitment to the nations youth, encourage family participation and help develop the character of our youth to better qualify them to become good citizens and the leaders of tomorrow. To coordinate and execute annual event for youth in our community.
