Marcia and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the support and work of the Members and Associates of Denver 17 at the recent Colorado Elks State convention where you assisted in my new duties. Without your help my election to the high position of State President would not have been possible. Over and over I heard the comment that Denver Lodge really has its act together. Wherever I travel in Elkdom people are going to know of the great work of our Lodge. I will truly carry the banner of Denver 17 as high as possible. THANK YOU, John Amen, CEA State President Proud Member of Denver Lodge of Elks No. 17

Dear Denver Lodge No. 17 Elks, On Saturday the 18th of June we made it to Denver from Wyoming for a Rockies winning game. We wanted to show our friends the beautiful Lodge No. 17 that we had visited in past years. Even though the Lodge wasn't open we met Alex and Barry there, hard at work. They made us feel welcome and Barry gave us the grand tour. Buni said that even though the game was great and we had wonderful food, Lodge No. 17, its history and gorgeous stained glass windows was the highlight of the week-end. Thanks for being so gracious to visitors when we're sure you had work to do. Oh, and also for allowing us to partake in a couple "cold ones" on a hot day. Phil & Jean Zerwas Torrington Lodge No. 1726 Buni Ruby & Luke Sherman Sheridan Lodge No. 520
