Why I Am an Elk . . .

"My accountant was a member of #17, and I was looking for a place to hold my Christmas party.  He took me to the lodge for lunch.  While we were there, I made arrangements for my Christmas party.  As I was leaving I got an application for membership.  That was 20+ years ago."
